1. Read Beginner’s Observing Guide chapters 8 and 9
•Tips on Becoming a Better Observer
•Recording Observations
2 Within a couple of days either way of first quarter moon (Feb. 6th), hold a ball in the air in the direction of the moon in such a way that you are facing both. Observe the light and shadow of the sun on the ball. Record your observation.
3 Observe the point of Sunrise and/or Sunset each morning/night. Record your observations.
